We hired Jay to grind a large stump in preparation for a retaining wall we needed to construct on our rental property. We also had several smaller stumps to grind. Jay responded immediately to our inquiry. He was able to quote and grind the stump the day we reached out, and did what we thought was a very thorough job. We had our landscaper come the following day who said he needed the stump ground down a bit more in certain areas to place the footings of the wall. We called Jay and he came back out the same day to handle it, charging us nothing further in the process. He spent another 1+ hours on site making sure we ground the tree down as much as possible to allow for the retaining wall to be built. Jay’s commitment to quality and customer service was beyond impressive. He is next level. Hire him. We would highly recommend and will use him again. Thanks for your work and service, Jay!

Jay removed over 10 stumps we had in our back yard on the hill, by the fence with bunch or rocks (other stump grinding companies I tried to reach for few years would not even consider this job). Jay was very precise and careful and did phenomenal job! Highly recommend him!

Jay's Stump Grinding is great! Jay has an incredible machine that took care of our massive 5' in diameter stump in less than an hour. He even pushed the debris into a pile for us and leveled the area where the stump was. He also didn't mind the audience of me and my boys watching the show. I highly recommend Jay's!

After digging up a very large Fir stump in my front yard with an excavator, I was left with a mountain of roots that needed disposal. Some pieces too massive to load into a trailer. Jay showed up with monster grinder and went to town. In a couple hours, this was reduced to a pile of wood shavings with a few pieces small enough to go into the recycling bin. Very happy with the service and price, wish I had called him long before I even thought to dig the stump up.

Jay and his amazing machine took out 4 stumps, with outlying roots out to 5 feet. I have wonderful wood chips and rototilled dirt in each place. Avoided the edging, and carefully spared neighboring plants. Appreciated the work, enjoyed watching and learning about his alterations to that great grinder.

I had a 4 foot stump, left from a tree removal located in the corner of my back property. Not real easy access, up a slight terrain. Contact several companies. Jay's was not only the best value with a price much lower than his competitors, but he was extremely professional, came out a week earlier than he though he could (loved this!) and was able to get that stump gone! Jay is very friendly and I would definitely use him again. Any friends that ask me if I know a reputable company will get referred to Jay' Stump Grinding every time. Thanks Jay!

I had a few stumps and roots ground down by Jay and I highly recommend him to anyone else needing these services. The stumps were in a rocky area of my yard near some giant windows on my house and he was careful to make sure there was no damage. His price was very fair and he was accommodating with some extra stumps in the farther part of my yard. Jay was also careful when driving his machine in and took a path that was less direct for him to avoid any possible damage to my yard. Afterward, Jay smoothed out the wood chips and cleaned up the area with a leaf blower. I was not expecting that at all, but really appreciated that level of service. I had to play some phone tag with Jay to get the appointment set up with him initially, as he is returning calls between jobs, but it was completely worth it.
