Jay’s Stump Grinding Service will grind tree stumps well under ground to allow for a revised landscape. New plantings grow well in the turbo-roto-tilled soil left behind by our grinding equipment. We have no trouble with removing stubborn tree roots or shrubs and bushes which might need removal.

Introducing The Phoenix, Our Main Grinder
The Phoenix is a beast of a machine. Boasting a 33 HP Kubota Turbo Diesel, it has the power to perform on the toughest jobs. Carbide tip cutting teeth allow it to cut through tree stumps with ease.
Weighing in at less than a small car, it can traverse lawns and septic fields without damage. It’s narrow 35″ profile allows it to navigate through a 36″ gate if needed. As a 4WD Dually, it is designed to manage rough and hilly terrain when required.
Perhaps our favorite aspect is it’s remote control capability. This allows the operator the freedom to move around the grinder to constantly assess the procedure, while maintaining a safe distance from the machine. This also makes navigating in tight or precarious locations possible since there is no operator attached. And of course we can’t forget the element of fun a remote control adds!
